I'm packed and ready to hit the road for my demure weekend of, uh, reading classic novels and deepening my spirituality (there are gods of wine, no?) , but I thought I'd post a few pics of the past week. Here, my three youngest are "helping" their father clean leaves off the sports court by throwing his neat piles of leaves over the wheelbarrow.
Henrietta, our 6 year old daughter. This is precisely the reason Jack no longer wants to be mentioned on the blog. What? I'm sure all the sixth grade girls would love to see Jack in a wig.

Blurry, but finally finished! Soon to be the treehouse of horrors for our Halloween party...
Looks good in the outfit, and soon will learn to kick the ball instead of wiggle what few teeth he has left.
This is what the girls plan to be doing all weekend while mom is away (except with a lot more clutter on the floor).

Kate, Ok, I have to admit that I spent a couple hours in front of the TV last night waiting for the premier of Bionic Woman. Loved that show when I was a girl. So to know that your girls are watching Wonder Woman is the best thing I've heard in a while. I'm inspired to see if they have old episodes of Bionic Woman on netflix. PS I found your blog by googling you...I knew you had one but couldn't remember the url. glad to hear all is going well in Coupeville. Say hi to the family from the Fox clan.
