This morning, Jack was dejectedly munching away on his eggs when the phone rang.
"Coupeville Middle School? Who could that be?" I said. Why, it turns out that I GOT THE LUNCH LADY JOB!!! Jack put his head in his hands, but I overplayed my enthusiasm and I could see it dawning on him that today was April Fool's Day. He did concede that this was my greatest prank ever. And that's saying something.
