Well, today I'm officially pushing forty. It's always nice to celebrate your birthday by stepping out of your shower to find a bed full of children who burst into laughter when they see you. Now I'm off to the boys' parent-teacher conferences. Woohoo.

Back from conferences, where we found out our boys are very bright, but very messy. Oh. Well, now, that was worth getting out of bed for. We also found out that Jack is reserved, and Henry is not. So basically, there were no surprises. Henry is enjoying school much more since I began driving him to and from, rather than letting him go on the bus. Also, the biter isn't in his class anymore and his big brother is giving him all sorts of valuable advice, like, "Henry, you shouldn't be afraid of getting in trouble. You can get away with a lot if you're a good student." Real helpful life lessons, there.
