If it falls to the right, it could mean the end of the play structure. To the left, it smashes in the treehouse. Right now it's being held up by another tree, waiting for my manly man to come chainsaw it down. There's another tree sharing the root ball that is aiming toward the treehouse. Windy miles an hour

Gotta love that "kid honesty". I think you'll need a good hair colorist as Olivia grows up. She's gonna give you some grays I'm sure (if she hasn't already). Cheers, Donna
ReplyDeleteThat is why my husband only has three pieces of hair (it has nothing to do with me).
ReplyDeleteRe: The tree...And if it had pitched forward? Holy crap, Kate. Glad you guys are okay, and that everyone down to the dog is still friggin cute. We had wind down in the great metropolis of Shoreline, but all it did was knock down the neighbor's collection of unhinged doors that were propped against all of their trees (what the ?!). Yeah, *those* neighbors... Have a good evening, and by the way you're killing me with the description of J in swim class...
ReplyDeleteWell, if it had made it to the house, it would have taken out the Castle Room, and then Henry's problem would be solved (although, truthfully, he has grown to love it).
ReplyDeleteIs your post title referencing The Modern Lovers' 'Roadrunner'? Love it:
ReplyDeleteOne! two! three! four! five! six!
Roadrunner roadrunner,
Going faster miles an hour;
Gonna ride by the Stop-n-Shop[?],
With the radio on;
(I don't recall all of the lyrics right now.)
I got the AM, Got the AM
ReplyDeleteRadio on
The highway is your girlfriend as you go by quick
Suburban trees, suburban speed
And it smells like heaven(thunder)
And I say roadrunner once
Roadrunner twice
I'm in love with rock & roll and I'll be out all night
Roadrunner
That's right
How old are we?
