Mitch is such a good dad. The kids wanted to camp in the backyard last night and, while my automatic response would have been no, it's a weeknight, after all, he was totally into it. Since I hate sleeping on the groundhave bursitis, I slept in the house in my nice, big bed with my 600 thread-count sheets and my remote control at hand so I could watch Access HollywoodCNN before drifting off. Jack started out in the tent, but grew bored with the younger kids' lack of ghost story-telling experience, and once they started drifting off to sleep he was outta there. It was a good night for all, as seen here by these happy morning faces.
Great Dad!

Happiness streams from the tent.

ReplyDeleteBack yard camping is the best! It's easier than actual camping and the kids are so thrilled to be camping at all that complaining doesn't occur to them.
ReplyDeleteOur own backyard camping adventure offers photographic evidence of this.
Mark wants to go camping. Um. Yeah.
