As the kids and I were coming into the driveway today, we saw a newborn fawn coming out of the woods with it's mama. Wobbly first steps and all. For the first time in recorded history, all four kids were completely silent for several minutes while we watched the fawn try out it's new legs. What's a bigger miracle? Simultaneous silence by my children or a newborn deer?
