Today we had Erika, Thelonious, and Ione up for a visit. We took them to the kids' favorite place, Fort Casey. Grace thought all these little alcoves were places she could pose, a'la the Blessed Mother or some other holy or unholy icon.

Henry entertained Thelonious with tales of his favorite book, "Super Diaper Baby" which is all about poop. One of his favorite topics. Once, the day after he had eaten corn for dinner, Henry was in the bathroom for a very, very long time. When he finally came out, he said, "Why do people even bother eating corn?"
