The girls' first game was on Friday. Olivia thought she looked great (which, of course, she did). Grace was horrified when she got the uniform on. Also, the hat ruined any chance of a cute hair-do. Finally she settled for some fancy ponytail holders that hung out the bottom of the cap. 
There's a lot of standing around when you're in the field. Thankfully, her best friend made it to third where they had a nice hug and talked about Littlest Pet Shop.
Look who they got to coach! Guess who knows nothing about baseball? Once I figured out that coaching five year-olds is a lot like herding cats, it wasn't so bad. I think my reaction in this photo is noticing Grace coming back from the porta potty with her dad, and I know for a FACT that he doesn't carry hand sanitizer in his pocket like I do.
